CEO Summit 2024 – Employee Wellness & Engagement
Employee Engagement Program Findings from the Year of Joy
The culmination of Scoot’s 2023 support of the Year of Joy was learning from managers, ambassadors and employees about how to best use employee engagement and benefit programs. We showcased our findings at IA’s CEO Summit with our recruiting partner SyncScript and got the chance to hear from other CEO’s about their strategies to make these types of programs adopted, used and enjoyed by their teams.
FPI Fall 2023 – Customer Panel
Our consumer panels help us connect customers with organizations, especially those that don’t regularly have a chance to meet their end customers face-to-face. This fall we hosted a customer panel at the Food Packaging Institute’s fall event. It was a great chance to see what types of packaging served customers needs and hear their wish list for future improvements and innovations. Video recap here.

The keynote presentation showcased an engaging oral history of stories, predictions and pivotal moments in qualitative research’s history. In order to understand the future of qual, we need to revisit its history!
MRX Pros Deep Dive
Participant Integrity & Data Quality
Watch Katrina’s presentation on participant integrity and data quality because no matter where it comes from, incidents of fraud are much more up-close and personal in qualitative research than when they appear as a line item in a quantitative excel file. Hopefully by calling attention to this ‘integrity gap,’ our industry can feel more empowered and confident in the current (and developing) mitigating solutions

Manifesto for Adaptive Research
Important article from Scooter Janet Standen because as she puts it “Without a deeper understanding of the origin of the “Agile Development” philosophy, you could be forgiven for thinking that Agile Research is just fast, nimble research, and believe if it’s quicker, it should be cheaper and easier to conduct!”
You’re Not Listening: What You’re Missing and Why it Matters
Scoot into 2021 by doing some active listening https://lnkd.in/gNfX-JC
As Janet Standen points out, “There is a whole chapter dedicated to the listening skills of master moderators,” reminding us all in #mrx that our industry centers on the vital skill of listening.
She forecasts, “…the financial fallout from 2020 will hit hard so smart business decisions will be more necessary than ever, informed by effective and efficient research. This will bring Market Research back into focus as a key strategic business function.”

The two worlds do overlap and can strengthen each other. Learn and share during a discussion with three innovative UX researchers with experience in both the UX and Qualitative Research World.
